Judah & The Lion Tour 2026

Judah & The Lion, formed in Nashville, Tennessee, emerged from a diverse musical background, initially coalescing around the core members of Judah Akers (guitar, lead vocals), Brian Macdonald (mandolin, vocals), and Spencer Cross (drums). Their sound is a distinctive blend of folk instrumentation, pop melodicism, and hip-hop rhythmic sensibilities. Early recordings showcased prominent banjo and mandolin alongside traditional rock drums and bass, creating a vibrant, often anthemic, feel. As their career progressed, they integrated more electronic textures and production, broadening their sonic palette while retaining their foundational acoustic elements. This evolution has resulted in a sound that is both familiar and innovative, appealing to a wide cross-section of listeners.

Attending a Judah & The Lion live show is an experience marked by high energy and genuine connection. Their stage production, while often visually engaging with dynamic lighting and occasional video elements, primarily serves to amplify their performance rather than overshadow it. The setlist typically balances fan favorites with newer material, often featuring unexpected covers or re-imaginings of their own tracks. They are known for their ability to command both intimate club stages and large festival grounds, adapting their performance to the scale of the venue while maintaining an infectious enthusiasm. The band frequently engages with the audience, fostering a communal atmosphere that makes each concert feel personal.

They have performed at major festivals across North America and beyond, sharing stages with a diverse array of artists.
